Memories of working in Sentosa..

Ok.. Today dunno y I feel like blogging when I was working in Sentosa. Maybe that's my 1st time attachment there &  a character of mine that so afraid to interact with strangers, it helped me break through & not only that, I learned how the procedure in Sentosa, also I learned to be more patient, positive in handling different guests. And what I like most that in Sentosa, the people are real friendly compared working in retail line. I see different kinds of people & different country people come to Singapore.

Hmmm some unforgettable incidents such like a Japanese woman request took a photo with her when we work at Boardwalk, difficult & impatient guest at Sky tower & a weird young man leg with one shoe, and angry guests couldn't board the train when I was working as rover at Waterfront Station. Really lor, so much memories when I was working there!

Not only that, I remembered one incidents I 4gEt to return the key to IC after I knock off & in the end not only I was scolded but took a cab back to return & since then most of the IC know me aka some of my colleagues that I don't know de also know me. LOL!!! But then what I can say the people there are good, friendly & nice, if u have the chance try working in Sentosa, not only u met different kind of people but different incidents too! Heheex. ^^

Can't believe Higher Nitec just past & my worry of Poly...

Today, just totally feel like blogging & I know been ages I dint blog & gonna decompose liao. HAHA! Yes, u are right,  I post without pictures something's  wrong! LOL.

Can't believe my 2 years in Higher Nitec just past like that & I also go through my attachment in Sentosa liao. Ok lahh, can't bear & realized I been through so much and u know what? I know the reasons why I'm back to no motivation, feel like giving up all these for past 2 years?!! Cause Service Management was not my 1st choice at all & I can't bring myself to work very hard so became slack & play. Hmmm though the reason was these but my greateset achievement was going to Manila, Philippines. Is like my very 1st trip of school outing & I hope I can get to overseas when I'm in Poly. Beside that I known a few great classmate of mine, used to be a clique aka friends but a pity that we no longer is. It's a long grandmother story & I don't wish to mention it anymore but anyway, what I can say is I learned alot through them & actually I no longer bear the hatred as already all past, sometimes I wish to be friends with them back but I think maybe in despair ba. Well,I wish nothing but all the best in them.

And talking about Poly, I really wish to get in but I think my chances are very low, no matter how to stay positive I just cannot denied the facts that I'm worried & fear I couldn't get in. I even have the thoughts that doesn't matter I can't get my 1st choice as long I'm into Poly however if really "heng heng" get into poly & the course I WANT, I will work very hard towards it. I SWEAR cause I think through a lot a lot & show gratitude towards not only the person who let me in but also all the people around me, God & etc. LOLOL! "OK, kinda exaggerated, haha! But really lahh, u know it's like u ask for water, but then they give u a cup without water. Yup, empty inside & all along I feel empty no motivation, no  passions in studies.

Ok all above are what I've been through & worries. Let's talk about my emotions now.. To me, I find humans are complicated, including me & yes, life's complicated too! If u are older & matured enough, u will understand what I meaan.

My very 1st time doing Rover @ Beach Station today! :p

Hohoho!! Here I am to update my Blog again! Previously blogged about my very 1st time Ticketing yahx?!! This time round I'm blogging about my Rover at Beach Station.

Heex, really fun to the Max I SWEAR!!! U just greet guest with SMILE, ensure no more guests alighting & u can ask them proceed. Easy man!! But hor provided you must be daring enough to give orders & quick reaction if not will invite yourself into trouble or by guest complains. And and and u got to be familiar with the location that they wanna proceed if not guest would be unhappy but if really dunno, remember don't be SMART ALEX or else worst, prepare to DIE!!!

What I dislike about being Rover is whenever guest ask about the Location, the train came & must be very rush to reply them or after they alight the train, they ask lots of question, not only block other people way, they also impatient to wait when serving other guest to board the train. I FEEL LIKE KILLING THEM AT TIMES!!!

Quite disheartening that you wanna serve them at your best yet they are not happy. Some not even a thank you & walk off! And some even purposely walk very slowly that the door closed, they pull a long face. Ok.. It's all right, at least I'm doing my duty, my conscious is clear.

Oh yes, when doing Rover, u need a Walkie talkie. Very funny lor, whenever I hear my own voice or people I know, I laugh till non-stop & the feeling really different man!! Well, I still prefer talking on phone lah. More privacy & less noise.

After all today morning quite nervous de but thanks to Guo Yao, if not he told me those very worst situation, I guess I still like clueless, blur blur what to do.. hAhAhAhA!!! Hmmm anyway today I'm very proud of myself cause not only I learn fast doing Rover, I'm all alone doing the whole morning! And yes, compare GR & Rover, I prefer doing Rover lor!! heheEex. ^^

My very 1st time Ticketing @ Sentosa Station.. ...

Wake up early in the morning, reached before 8.30am, 5th Jan was my very 1st day gonna serve customer! I was like NERVOUS TO THE MAX till I wanna die!! But luckily they provide a trainer to train & mine was a pretty young lady Chinese mixed with "Ang Moh" named Sophie. Hmmmm I was located at Sentosa Station, 1stly, she asked me to Take Float which means every start of the day ensure there's $300-$500 in the cashier then you can start the day. So we keep counting money till we really got $500 Maximum & we start!

Secondly, I learned to start the machine. Logged in the account using own account so you can start operate the machine then use supervisor card to set up Nets Machine. Well, I do not have a account yet so suddenly came a guy named Guo Yao, he snatched Sophie job of taught me how to serve customer, what are the packages like & so on. It's like everything lor!!! He was humorous, friendly & with him by my side teaching me I feel so secured. As for Sophie, she also taught me lah but like machine gun & easily distracted which I don't really like her to teach me.

Guo Yao not only taught me verbally, he wants me to put me into practice. I was like "huh, so fast?!! Ermm I told him I can't lah, sure die want!" He ensured me not to scared & just BOMBA me serving next customer after showing me how he serve. My mind while serving customer was like, u good & I sure die but luckily anything I 4get to say or press, he was with me. 

Then they went to break, before that he asked me okay if I handle alone I said yes & he said ok I trusted u & off they go. And true + luckily enough, nothing went wrong until there's a payment $20 that supposed to be Nets I key as Visa. Hmmm I only can say payment for Credit or Nets I'm not that really sure how to use it. I'm gotta learn till cooked. LOL!

They back & my turned to go for break, he told me every time before going to break must tally with the  Reports Printing so next person take over will be much easier & better. I was like ohhh I see.. So it's tally & off I go. 1 hour later, I'm back and so continue serving customer..

Ok.. I gotta say after lunch break I met some problems like Customer showing me letters that can claim for tickets which I really dunno how & luckily there's Guo Yao, Sophie & Auntie Amy to help me. Also there's a stupid man cut Q yet unreasonable say I serve others but din't serve him. So impatient still have the cheeks blame others?!!! GO AND DIE LAH U!! Guo Yao helped me shoot him back. Wahh.. really have him by my side I feel so secured & unknowingly I told him he show me a "Hao Lian" face & self-proclaim he know he's good & nice. -.-"'' hAhAhAhA!!!

I learned many things too lah, so much to share but lazy to type but I have to say you have to be smart & reaction fast enough lor. Ok.. then lastly before went knock off, Counter have to close & to ensure again is tally but that's the final check. Well, I'm not so familiar of this yet so I gonna learned till cooked too! heheex. ^^

3rd & 4th Jan Orientation on Sentosa!!

Yo yo yo! How u guys?!!! I hope my Blog haven died too long, lol. Yes!!! I'm here to update what I have I been ever since I'm attached to Sentosa starting on 3rd Jan 2012 for my Industry Attachment! Here We Go!!

Ok.. This is 1st day of Orientation during Sentosa, our in-charge Shahima give us an Island Map for us to study & bring us around to Sentosa. Wow!! The feeling was fantastic! The very 1st place we set off is the Fort Siloso @Siloso Point where we learned that the war happened from 1942-1945. Ok lah, I'm kinda forget how the history like cause all that which I learned when I was in Primary 3 or 4 I think. Well, I gotta opened my eyes that knowing how last time people lived, eat, wear & so on. If you guys are interested to know more, you may visit the place highlighted in Red & the Buses  Cum Tram are FREE!!! Explore your own ba!!!

Then we went to take Palawan Tram to Palawan amphitreatre @ Beach Station. There we see how the monkeys performed. Was damn Cute de lor!!! The monkeys plucked coconuts when hosts was talking, throwing balls into nets & cycling. The host was humaourous as well, I laugh till non-stop. HAHAHAHA!! B-)

Next, we went to the Merlion Plaza @ Imbian Station where we watched a video of how The Merlion was formed & viewing scenery of Merlion Mouth & Head. You can take as many pictures too! Hmmm I gotta say viewing scenery of  Merlion Mouth & Head is romantic especially with your loved ones! If I have a boyfriend, I would kiss & hug him @ the The Merlion. *shy*

Oh yes, The lift inside Merlion NO STOREY! The buttons if I'm not wrong only Ground Floor, 1, 10 (Viewing Scenery), Haha!

Then, we went to the Images of Singapore @ Imbiah Station! There, we watched the video & some old stuffs that people used. Examples: Telephome, Writing Desk and etc. Below are some pictures of it! 

Cool to the Max lor!! Tell u guys what! When the video starting Wow! The 4 man pictures will move the leh as they talk & suddenly the the smoke shows a little girl as host. Then as the video continue, there's a SMOKE SHAPED LIKE CIRCLE & U CAN POKE IT and dispense it after that! Hahahaha, I like it very much! heheex. ^^

Then aftermath we went to the Tiger Sky Tower @ Imbiah Station!! I'm so excited as u know lah, I LOVE THRILLS & EXCITING GAME!! The Higher it is, the more I like it heex. :P Hmmm my wish is that I would like to try Para-shoot & jump down with a string tied on my hips! I know dangerous lah & I also will feel scared but I love to try if I have the opportunity, yeah!!!

Sorry I can't managed to upload a video  I take when I was high up on Tiger Sky Tower but I do have a photo I take above. Nice right?!! The View was AWESOME!!! U can see the Whole Sentosa as it slowly turn one round. You can even take many pictures with different view! I'm a happy kid! ^-^

As our journey, I saw Good Services & Bad services that the staff serving to the Tourists or u called 'Customers'!! Hmmm I'm already a Sentosa staff, I hope I can do a good job for the whole TWO MONTHS in Sentosa! 

Lastly, our In-charge brought us to the staff areas where we punch our card, pantry for eating & rest area. Depending the Station you posted but mainly at Sentosa Station. AND WE GO HOME, finally!!! Feeling exhausted as travelling the whole day! 

The Second day of Orientation 4th Jan, We all assembly at Sentosa Visitors Centre which u can get there by Sentosa Broadway or Water Front Station! FYI, Universal Studios only @ Waterfront Station, Underwater World @ Beach Station Siloso Point & ALL ATTRACTIONS at Imbiah Stations. Hahahaha I got all the knowledge during 1st day of Travelling. SMART RIGHT?!!

Inside the Office, Shahima our In-charge explained why are we in Admission Stars where we attached, simple cause we Shine like a Star lor & we have to Serve our customers like a Stars. Forget to add Stressful like a star too! HAHA just kidding!! All "S" don't u realized it?! LOL!  Also, she explained to us what's our Objectives & how we should dress during work. We had Ice-breaking too to know more about each other, laughing like mad then we went to lunch. Oh yes, our In-charge want each group of us at different location take a photos how Sentosa Staff serve the customers. I was like stunned & questioning myself, really have to do it meh??

Aftermath we back from lunch, I was nervous about what we had taken but then "HENG" AH, a senior  malay young lady staff served us to take our uniform. Pheww!!
